Wow 50 years alive!

We have had Bronnie on this earth with us for 50yrs despite Cystic Fibrosis sufferer's of her generation not surviving their childhood . We are celebrating the miracle of our Bronnie in our lives.
Her Birthday is on Sunday and our prayers are going out that she will feel better for her big day. We love you Bronnie. Xxx

Who is Bronwyn?

Bronwyn de Beer lives in an apartment in Johannesburg South Africa. She has miraculously survived to he age of 49 with Cystic Fibrosis despite being miss diagnosed up until her 30's.

In Bronwyn's generation Cystic Fibrosis sufferers had a life span of only 20yrs if they were lucky. Her fight to live and love others has pushed her way beyond this mark.

Bronwyn has beaten many odds now living in confinement to prevent infection with the added complication of osteoporosis. Bronwyn is bed ridden with a broken back and wrist, broken shoulders, ribs and toes! with reoccurring lung infections through each year.

Bronwyn inspires us (her family and friends) with her thoughtful love and constant concern for others. She is in contact with the world thanks to modern technology and social media. She loves animals and children and owns one extraordinarily kind and intelligent dog Spike (a super clean dog too!)

Bronwyn worked as a primary school teacher near Hillbrow Johannesburg (a destitute slum neighbourhood with many children in need of love and education). She persued this job with passion and many added hours in after care up until her body could not function in that job one minute more. Many of her little students now grown fondly remember her and are still in contact with her.
