Wow 50 years alive!

We have had Bronnie on this earth with us for 50yrs despite Cystic Fibrosis sufferer's of her generation not surviving their childhood . We are celebrating the miracle of our Bronnie in our lives. 
Her Birthday is on Sunday and our prayers are going out that she will feel better for her big day. We love you Bronnie. Xxx

We Need to work a little harder and longer for Bron

Our Bronnie has been hospital twice since the last post. A dangerous journey for Bronnie because of all the germs that lurk in hospitals.  Thankfully the Doctors rush her out faster than they rush her in.  She has been so ill with fluid on the lungs and tooth infections not to mention her hip which now seems to be degrading.  She needs a bed to help her out more than ever to gently manoeuvre her body to positions of maximum health for her.

There are still tickets to accommodate a fair whack of crowd for her fun raiser on Tuesday night.  Please rally your friends and share this information on Facebook.

In the months that have passed our Bron has been very ill. First she broke her elbow and then a hard winter with the flu bug causing multiple infections in Bron's respiratory system. Our Darling is now very weak and we are having a fundraiser to get her the ideal bed so she does not need to shift herself breaking more bones. Funds raised will go toward the purchasing of the bed and for medication which Bron always needs.

Hi All - Thursday night was Horrific!!! Bronsi battled for hours - but thank God last night was a better night! Thank you for all your Love, prayers, care, thoughts and concern.
Each one of you makes a huge impact on Bronnie's life. Pls keep the prayers coming. Love and Thanks Debs xx

Why we are so Butterflied up!

"Bronsi has always loved Butterflies. She has battled lung infections and difficulty breathing most of her life - during severe attacks she would picture Butterflies and their ability to Fly freely! This would help to soothe and calm her breathing. I always called her 'My Butterfly Princess' and then just out of the blue -The kiddies that she taught 5 - 6yr olds - came up with her name - Bronsi Butterfly and it just stuck!!! Then at age 33 - after years of mis diagnosing her - the doctors finally did the Genetic screening and discovered that she has Cystic Fibrosis. And what is the Cystic Fibrosis Symbol - A BUTTERFLY!!!!!! A Butterfly gives you the Freedom To Breathe . . . . . . . . So that is the Story behind our Miracle Bronsi Butterfly. Love Debs"

Today is our darling Bronwyn's birthday.  A special day in our lives as we celebrate another year this angel has fought to live in our lives.  Her daily encouragement to us in our lives through Facebook and email is a precious gift.  


Bron, we are glad that your kidney functions are improving and that the lung infection that has been ailing you for the past few weeks seems to be subsiding.
